List of Accredited Online Colleges
If you’ve decided to begin looking for an education online, there is one term you absolutely need to know: accreditation. You never want to attend a college or a university that has not been accredited by a legitimate third party organization. What accreditation means is the school’s program of study has been evaluated by that third party and meets the minimum standards for education. Both online and offline schools must go through this process. However, you may need to be more vigilant with online education because it is easier for a fly-by-night organization to get started.
Without proper accreditation, the education you get from the school is not going to be very effective in helping you in the future. The education provided by non-accredited colleges is not taken seriously by other learning institutions or by employers.
